Meet our Principal

Principal Luther

Hello, Oakwood Community! I’m Angelee Luther, and I’m thrilled to join you as the new principal of Oakwood Elementary. I’m married to my best friend, who is a constant source of strength and support. We have two amazing adult daughters, and I’m continually astounded by their incredible strength and the journeys they are on. In my free time, I love to ride my bike, tumble rocks, and build epic marble runs. It’s all about finding joy in the little things! I’m known for my fast laugh and my belief that a good sense of humor makes every day better.

I have over 15 years of experience in education, having taught history and math at Jefferson Junior High. For the past four years, I served as an assistant principal in the Granite district, where I worked with amazing students and staff. This is my first principalship, and I couldn’t be more excited to be here at Oakwood.

I’m passionate about creating an inclusive environment where every student feels valued and supported. I believe in the power of high academic standards and am dedicated to helping our students achieve their best. My goal is to foster a love of learning in all students, making education engaging and relevant to their lives.

I’m overjoyed to be at Oakwood Elementary and look forward to working with our fantastic students, supportive parents, and dedicated staff. Together, we can make this school year the best one yet!
